Information for oral presentation

Please check in at the registration desk located in the entrance area of Hofburg Congress Centre to obtain your badge and congress documentation. After registration please proceed to the Speaker Ready Room.

Speaker Ready Room

Speakers should check in to the Speaker Ready Room the day prior to their session to upload and test their presentation. Staff will assist speakers with their presentation and will advise them of their allocated session room.

In order to ensure all oral presentations run smoothly, please consider the following details:

Speakers must be in their allocated session room 10 minutes before their session starts.
A computer will be located in each room. Speakers will be able to operate their presentation through a wireless presenter with laser pointer.
Each presentation has a total duration of 15 minutes, 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for open discussion.
Speakers are asked to stick to the allotted speaking time as they will be timed. This is necessary to keep the programme on schedule!

Information for poster presentation

Poster presentations and discussion will take place in front of the poster. Each Poster Session will be guided by a Poster Chair. Poster chairs will guide an interested group during the poster session (around 10 posters each) along posters, with the presenters pointing out the main points of their poster (around 3 min) and the chair asking/guiding questions.

Each poster will be numbered in the congress programme. Corresponding numbers will be tacked to each poster board, so you will know where to put up your poster.

Posters design: Posters should include the title of the presentation, author(s), institution and country.
Please note that your illustrations should be readable from a distance of at least 1 metre!
